Financial Markets
The broker operating system for client records, onboarding, permissions, trading access, fees, reporting and audit.
Capabilities
BrokerDesk controls the lifecycle from branded broker setup through onboarding, account provisioning, entitlements, limits, volume, fees and reporting.
->Client organisations, human login users and trading accounts are held as distinct records, each with its own status, permissions and effective history.
->Approved verification providers can feed a common operational state model while the broker keeps approval, restriction and suspension decisions.
->Markets, instruments, data visibility, order types, API access and risk limits are inherited restrictively and enforced server-side.
->Volume and fee calculations are derived from durable execution events, versioned schedules and reproducible billing-period controls.
->Operational queues, provisioning exceptions, fee reports and material changes carry actor, time, reason and before-and-after context.
->In detail
Onboarding, identity, client records, venue accounts, trading screens, fees and reporting are often bought or built separately, then stitched together manually. BrokerDesk addresses the operating layer around the trading experience.
BrokerDesk supports the journey from broker configuration and branding, through KYC and KYB onboarding, user and account provisioning, market entitlements, risk profiles, limits, execution volume, fee reporting, reconciliation and audit.
The trader uses TraderDesk under the broker's brand and customer relationship. BrokerDesk controls who may trade, through which account, under which rules and on which commercial terms.
A client can be an individual or organisation; a client user is the human login identity; a trading account is the broker-controlled access point into TraderDesk. Keeping these separate avoids weak permission models and messy lifecycle management.
BrokerDesk can orchestrate approved verification providers, retain provider state and case references, and calculate access from client lifecycle, verification state, broker approval, user status, account status, required agreements and jurisdiction policy.
Platform availability, broker availability, service tier, client, account and individual user exceptions form a hierarchy. A lower level cannot enable anything prohibited above it, and controls must be enforced server-side.
Commercial activity is measured from durable fill events, not mutable dashboard totals. Fee schedules can cover fixed fees, basis points, minimums, maximums, spreads, maker-taker schedules, tiers and pass-through costs with immutable versions.
BrokerDesk tracks lifecycle queues, provisioning failures, entitlement exceptions, connection health, execution-level fee calculations, billing-period control, exports and immutable change history with actor, action, target, time, reason and before-and-after context.
A practical deployment can move through discovery, operating-model definition, broker configuration, integration planning, configured pilot, KYC, venue and reporting adapters, production deployment and training.
